Burner Friday: Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle

December 26, 2014

Happy BURNER FRIDAY, everyone!

This rendition of our favorite Friday activity was submitted to us by a member of our community currently deployed in support of contingency operations overseas. An absolutely spectacular image, it captures a Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle with all five stages of afterburner lit in front of a beautiful sunset.

This is a sobering reminder many friends and family members are in harm’s way, unable to be at home this Holiday season. We ask you to remember them and kept them and their families close to your hearts. Our freedom comes with a high price tag, and we owe those willing to pay that price with their service and sacrifice a debt of honor and gratitude.

Have a great weekend!
