The U.S. Air Force Tactical Response Force (TRF) is a special weapons and tactics team (SWAT) charged with the responsibility of protecting USAF nuclear weapons bases and intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) sites.

As of 2017, all active U.S. ICBM silos (about 400) are located near Malmstrom AFB, Montana; Minot AFB, North Dakota; and F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming.

TRFs regularly perform air patrols over the large ICBM fields aboard helicopters. Video: UH-1N Huey helicopters from the 37th Helicopter Squadron transport members of a TRF from 90th Security Forces Group, F.E. Warren AFB on a security patrol training mission. – Gung Ho Vids
