There is indeed a lot of truth to that quote. Thanks to advanced targeting pods and night-vision goggles, our “boots on the ground” overseas can rest a bit easier knowing even if they get into a tight spot at night, combat airpower will be able to provide kinetic effects with great accuracy on their foes.
