According to Carlsbad (California) Police, a helicopter has crashed at McClellan–Palomar Airport.

The local Fire Department and EMS units were called to 2198 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad around 4:22 PM local time after the helicopter crashed, and witnesses report seeing flames near the site.

We’ve received word that two occupants of the helicopter died in the crash.
