From The Cockpit: Another Raptor B-Course Graduates!

Scott Wolff No Comments Air Force

Happy F-22sDay, FighterSweep Fans! What would a Tuesday be without a little Raptor awesomeness? We can’t speak for the rest of you, by the F-22 is definitely a favorite of ours, and this gives you a pretty rare peek inside the life of students learning how to tame the beast.

This video comes from the fine young men of Class 15-ABR at Tyndall Air Force Base, located in the Florida panhandle. The Raptor B-Course, taught by the instructor pilots in the 43rd Fighter Squadron, is approximately eight months in length and takes students fresh out of UPT and turns them into qualified F-22 pilots.

The inspiration for and overall theme comes from Jurassic Park and the deadly VelociRAPTOR. As a side note, coincidentally the class finished up the course on the same day that the new Jurassic World movie came out. Timing is everything right??

So sit back, crank up the volume on your speakers, and enjoy this offering. We hope it puts a smile on your face as it did ours, and stokes your appreciation and understanding for just how special the F-22 community really is.
