FighterSweep and Bremont are excited to announce a special edition F-14 Tomcat watch for solely for maintainers. Former maintainers order your bespoke Tomcat watch here.

If you were one of the privileged individuals who left blood, sweat, and tears on the flight deck while working on the world’s most famous fighter, now is your chance to remember the F-14 Tomcat with a special edition watch from Bremont. When Bremont and FighterSweep decided to partner up and offer a bespoke watch on the 10 year anniversary of the Tomcat’s last flight for Pilot’s and RIOs, the demand from maintainers was also huge.

“The Tomcat is the last fighter where the maintainers were as invested in the success of the jet as the aviators. They were actual wrench turners–not computer geeks or box swappers,” said Paco Chierici, Editor-in-Chief of FighterSweep and lead for the Tomcat watch project.

“The maintenance crews had as much emotional attachment to the Tomcat as the aircrew–sometimes even more. In retrospect, it is no surprise that there was such a massive interest in a maintainer’s version of the Bremont Tomcat commemorative timepiece,” said Chierici.

Thus, Bremont and FighterSweep decided to offer a maintainer version to honor those that breathed life into the beast.

The watch features numerous design elements that make it special to those who maintained the world’s most iconic fighter. The F-14 planform, wings fully swept, is featured at 6 o’clock with the Tomcat Patch at 9 o’clock and famous “ANYTIME BABY” phrase at 3 o’clock.

A subdued “F-14” is at 4 o’clock using the numeral 4 and the watch features the popular “Tailhook” second hand with stripes and ejection seat pull-handle. On the back of the watch, the bespoke rotor shows a classic F-14 weapons load of 2xAIM-54s, 2xAIM-7s, 2xAIM-9Ms and 2xGBU-12s*. The Phoenix missile set the Tomcat apart from other fighters. If you were in the ordnance shop, now is your time to remember the Tomcat’s Big Stick ability with the bespoke rotor* (IYAOYAS).
