3D is not just for watching movies anymore! Boeing uses 3D technology in their KC-46A Air Refueling Operator Station (AROS).

Watch the AROS system in action on this Boeing short film

Some of the features of the AROS include multiple 24 inch displays for a 3D refueling picture, a 185-degree panoramic field-of-view, recordable aerial refueling data and camera system and the automatic recording of offload and receiver data. – McConnell Air Force Base

The KC-46A Pegasus is a widebody, multirole tanker that can refuel all U.S., allied and coalition military aircraft compatible with international aerial refueling procedures. Boeing designed the KC-46 to carry passengers, cargo and patients. The aircraft can detect, avoid, defeat and survive threats using multiple layers of protection, which will enable it to operate safely in medium-threat environments. – Boeing
