In a surreal setting, US Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Airman Ashley Linares, on the misty flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), verifying information with the central charging pad operator. The Nimitz is at sea getting ready for the Board of Inspection and Survey getting ready to deploy in 2017. Ok, who knows what the ‘central charging pad operator’ is? Comment below.

Multiple U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallions takeoff during a “Max Launch” demonstration at Marine Corps Air Station New River, Feb. 3, 2017. The reason for this spectacular display of Marine Corps aviation prowess was to celebrate a rarely achieved maintenance goal of having all aircraft operational at one time.
