Watch: Coalition Airstrike Destroys an ISIS Vehicle Near Mosul

Sometimes when you are a fan of US Military aviation it does your heart good to see the results of what US aviation assets can actually do. Watch as a precision US airstrike takes out a single ISIS vehicle recently somewhere near Mosul, Iraq during Operation Inherent Resolve.

When US action against ISIS began the effort had no official name. The decision not to name the military operations against the terrorist group drew considerable attention from the media. In October 2014 the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) issued a press release designating Operation Inherent Resolve at the official name for US military operations against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

As of February, 2017 the United States and coalition forces have launched more than 18,000 airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against ISIS targets. While aviation forces from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Jordan, The Netherlands, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom have all participated the United States has executed almost 80% of the total missions.

Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE have only launched airstrikes in Syria. Over $11 billion has been spent on military action against ISIS since August 2014.

Anyone want to let us know what type of aviation asset took this kill shot? Comment below or on the Fighter Sweep Facebook page if you know.
