Did You Know the Marine Corps Can ‘See’ in the Dark? Yes They Can!

FighterSweep Staff 1 Comment Marine Corps, Military Aviation, Photos, Video

Very cool video footage of the Marine Corps practicing urban close air support during the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI) near Yuma, Arizona. Live fire drills are always exciting to say the least but when they take place at night it takes things to a greater level.

Known as the ‘Super Huey’ the twin-engine Bell UH-1Y Venom is a medium-sized utility helicopter built for the United States Marine Corps. First entering service in 2008 there were over 90 of the helicopters built at a cost of $26 million each.

Any of you out there fly in the Venom?
