Watch: Boeing Makes the Case for New B-52 Engines that Will Extend the Bomber Until 2050!

FighterSweep Staff 2 Comments Air Force, Military Aviation, News, Photos, Video

This video is an interesting watch if you are a B-52 Stratofortress fan. The bomber that just keeps giving and giving is scheduled to remain in active service until 2050 and possibly beyond.

Boeing B-52s will remain the backbone of the U.S. bomber force for decades to come. The final and crucial element to the aircraft’s modernization is to replace the engines. New engines will provide economic, operational and environmental benefits. New engines are the right choice to carry the B-52 into the future. – Boeing
