An A-10 Thunderbolt II, from the 40th Flight Test Squadron, fires the GAU-8 30mm cannon during a training mission on the Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., range Dec. 10. The pilot made multiple passes to fire the weapon and completed two strafing runs during the afternoon sortie. – Eglin Air Force Base
