Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Katie Brown observes an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the “Fighting Checkmates” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211, launching from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).

The ship is underway conducting Tailored Shipboard Test Availability and Final Evaluation Problem in preparation for future operations.
