“Pilots for a Day” Houston Pirrung and Jack Kirkbride are childhood cancer survivors turned ‘battle buddies’ who earned wings at Joint Base Andrews for their determination and remarkable brotherhood while undergoing leukemia treatments at John Hopkins Hospital.
