This is a very interesting video of an operation that many people don’t know even exists. The United States relies upon power projection from its military around the world to advance its national interests. Refueling aircraft operating in forward deployed locations around the world can sometimes prove to be difficult.
Forward Air Refueling Point (FARP) operation plays an important role in making this possible.
The FARP program, brought to you via the Special Operations Command trains airmen to perform covert and nighttime refueling operations in situations where traditional refueling capabilities are not feasible or when air-to-air refueling is not possible.
